Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Marine Technician to join our dynamic team based at Eden Island.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of our fleet of yachts to ensure they are always ready for charter. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in marine systems and a passion for the yachting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on all yacht systems including engines, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on yachts.
- Conduct pre-departure inspections and ensure yachts meet all safety and operational standards.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues that arise during charters.
- Give customer focused and detailed Yacht Technical and Area Chart briefings to charter guests pre-departure, and thorough technical debriefs on disembarkation noting any areas for yacht improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
- Order and maintain spare parts inventory.
- Work closely with the operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize yacht downtime.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to crew members as needed.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role in the maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Certification in marine technology or a related field is preferred.
- Fluent in English & French (preferred).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
