Job Description

Manage the daily operations of the boutique, including product availability and pricing.

Duties

  1. Ensure that the boutique runs smoothly and effectively.
  2. Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
  3. Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
  4. Keep records of expenditure, sales figures
  5. Evaluate the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins
  6. Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  7. Investigate market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.
  8. Serves customers by helping them select products.
  9. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
  10. Ensure high levels of consumer satisfaction by providing superior sales service
  11. Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  12. Implement measures to avoid stock damages and wastage.
  13. Monitor stocks and product displays
  14. Maintain presentable appearance of the boutique.
  15. Address customers’ requests, comments, and complaints.
  16. Any other related duties that may be assigned

EDUCATION (KNOWLEDGE):

  • Post Secondary level of education

 EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 years related working experience

TRAINING SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Working knowledge of market and consumer requirements and dynamics
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency of sales principles and customer service practice
  • Good planning and organizational skills

 PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Able to work under pressure,
  • Pleasant personality,
  • Punctual/reliable,
  • Ability to multi-task

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday – from 10am to 6pm

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Flexible working arrangements. Can be requested to work outside normal working hours and days as per exigencies of duties.
