Account Technician (1 post) – Seychelles Defense Forces Headquarter Bel-Eau

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Processing of request electronically local purchase order and payment vouchers through the Treasury Information System
• Processing of Foreign Exchange payments
• Processing of payroll and dispatching pay slips
• Reconciliation of Expenditure and Revenue
• Maintaining and promptly updating reports and schedules such as standing order, Creditors listings, Utilities schedules/listing; and/or any or reports requested by management
• Maintaining register of all documents in the accounts section.
• Preparing Treasury reconciliation promptly, and ensuring discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner.

Job Requirements

Recognized Qualifications & Requirements for the Post

1. Candidate with a Diploma in Business Studies plus AAT Level 3 or
2. Candidate with a Diploma in Business Studies plus AAT Level 4 or
3. Candidate with ‘A’ level in accounting or Advanced Certificate in Accounting plus three years as an Accounts Assistant
