Job Description
Job Purpose
The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with approved plans, safety regulations, and company standards. The role ensures all carpentry works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wooden and related materials.
- Construct and repair doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, shelves, partitions, and other fixtures.
- Carry out maintenance and renovation works on buildings and structures.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Install locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware components.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify structural or maintenance issues.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide support during renovation, refurbishment, and special projects.
Working Hours: 48 hours per week (1 day off per week)

Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or a related trade.
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Sound knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations.

- Good problem-solving ability.
