Job Description
Responsibilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good math skills (for measuring and cutting precisely)
- Attention to detail and steady hand skills
- Vocational training in carpentry or woodworking
- Technical school certificate in construction trades
- Courses in blueprint reading and finishing techniques
- Typically 2–4 years
- Installing trim, molding, and baseboards
- Cabinet fitting
- Door and window finishing
- Fine cutting and joinery
- First aid certification
- Patience and perfectionism (finishing work is highly visible)
- Strong hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work with fine details and high-quality finishes
- Team player to assist with other work
- Multi Task
