Head of Legal, Policy & External Relations
Job Description
To oversee and manage the Legal, Policy & External Relations Division, ensuring full compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Act 2020, other relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, along with international standards and recommended practices relating to combating financial crimes. Responsible for providing expert legal opinions, policy advice, and strategic guidance to support the mandate and objectives of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), while strengthening stakeholder engagement and promoting effective coordination with national and international partners.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Law
- Successful completion of the Bar Examination
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant legal experience
- Strong leadership, analytical, and legal drafting skills
- Knowledge of AML/CFT legal and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
