Air Seychelles is looking for Guest Contact Centre Officer responsible to provide flight enquiries and flight reservations services to walk in, email and phone in customers travelling on Air Seychelles, and other airlines on domestic and international routes ensuring the provision of the best customer services at all times, to the entire satisfaction of the company’s customers, the company and its partners.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Attend to customers promptly and efficiently with flight bookings and enquiries made in person, by telephone via call centre, or e-mail whilst offering first class customer service to ensure positive travel experience.
- Act as primary contact to customers travelling on Air Seychelles domestic and international flights, and with other airlines.
- Provide support for online booking for domestic and international travel; plan routes, itineraries, and compute fares and fees.
- Attend to Web Email duties such as respond to any Web email queries as per the approved SLAs; priorities in “rescuing” online bookings as priority duty; respond to ANY emails accordingly to the Air Seychelles standard templates, guidelines, etc..
- Attend to Call Centre duties whilst meeting the Air Seychelles customer service standards in phone answering, conversation management and information delivery and meeting call centre KPIs as set by the Commercial Department, including SLAs on call abandonment, call answering, etc.
- Attend to front line desk duties by meeting the Air Seychelles standard in staff presentation, office presentation and courtesy protocols and service the guest bookings as per Air Seychelles KPIs set.
- Attend to external customers with additional travel requirements including connecting flights, selling of ancillary products and re-routing due to schedule changes or other related matters.
- Manage Reservations queues on a daily basis and maintain each queue to under 10 a day.
- Carry out staff personal/duty travel reservations functions in line with staff personal/duty travel policy manuals.
- Attend to customers with various travel-related queries.
- React quickly and efficiently in the case of a Flight Delay or Disruption or schedule change or changes in flight plan by communicating directly to internal, external customers or travel agents to advice of the changes.
- Be on call after hours including weekends on a rotational basis to assist with any ticketing requirements, queries, and assist during disruptions and delays as and when required.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile
- Minimum graduate of a post-secondary institution, with IGCSE/O’ Level certificates in English and French or equivalent, as a minimum qualification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- 1 to 2 years’ work experience or experience in a related/similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills/awareness
- Pleasant personality- Patient, well-spoken, courteous and engaging
- Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times
- Cooperative and able to work productively in a team
