Location: Bravo Restaurant – Eden Island, Mahé, Seychelles

Bravo Restaurant is seeking to recruit serious, experienced and service-driven local candidates for the position of Barman. We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering excellent customer service, work well under pressure and are committed to maintaining Bravo’s high standards in a busy restaurant environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages consistently and according to approved recipes.
• Provide knowledgeable, professional and efficient bar service to guests and service staff.
• Maintain accurate portion control and minimise beverage wastage.
• Ensure bar stock is stored, rotated and handled correctly and assist with stock counts when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and fully prepared bar before, during and after service.
• Use the POS system accurately and follow all company procedures relating to orders and payments.
• Monitor product quality and report low stock, breakages or discrepancies to Management.
• Comply with hygiene, responsible service and health and safety requirements at all times.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 2 years’ proven work experience in the relevant position, preferably within a large, busy à la carte restaurant with a high seating capacity.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently in a high-volume service environment.
• Professional, confident and well-presented. Knowledge of sushi and Japanese-style menu items would be beneficial.
• Reliable, hardworking, punctual and a strong team player.
• Physically fit and healthy, able to spend extended periods on their feet and safely carry heavy trays during service.
• Flexible and available for shift work when necessary, including evenings, weekends and public holidays according to the restaurant roster.
• Only local candidates will be considered.

Experience: Minimum 2 years in the relevant position, preferably within a large, busy à la carte restaurant with a high seating capacity
