Job Description

The Fleet Technical Services Mechanic is responsible for the hands-on maintenance, servicing and repair of the resort’s marine fleet and associated equipment. The role supports the safe and reliable operation of vessels through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections and repairs. This is a practical, hands-on technical position within the Marina team.

Main Tasks

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on vessels and marine equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and technical faults.
• Inspect and service marine engines and vessel systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop areas safely and correctly.
• Report technical issues and maintenance requirements.
• Follow marine safety and operational procedures.

Job Requirement

• Relevant mechanical, marine engineering or technical qualification preferred.
• Previous experience maintaining and repairing marine vessels or engines.
• Good knowledge of marine engines and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and practical problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on technical work.
• Good English and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in marine transport, resort or island operations is an advantage.
