Job Description
Job summary
The DG is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the clinical services provided within the Department of Health in order to achieve the highest possible level of patient care with optimum utilization of the available resources. The DG will also gather and analyze data, drawing conclusions and presenting findings in the form of recommendations to management. The role of the DG is to offer advice for standardizing the delivery of care or ways to increase patient satisfaction and helping healthcare facilities with a range of regulatory issues.
Job Requirements
Qualification and experience
- Graduate degree in a health field
- Post graduate degree in a health field
- Health management experience of at least 10 years
- Wide exposure to current national and international health discourse.
