Air Seychelles is in search of First Officers-Turboprop to assist the Commander with the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and transportation of crew passengers on the company domestic inter-island routes, including assuming command of the aircraft in the event of incapacitation of the commander.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
• Operate as First Officer on Company Domestic aircraft on all company inter-island routes for the safe and efficient transportation of crew and passengers.
• Conduct such duties concerning the flight in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft types, as allocated by the commander.
• Maintain familiarity with the relevant Seychelles and International Air Legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
• Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance.
• Seek and receive such information and/or explanation from the Commander as may be necessary to fulfil relevant functions.
• Assist the Commander as required in the maintenance of a proper standard of crew discipline, conduct and personal appearance.
• Maintain the validity of personal licenses and ratings.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile:

• Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR) Multi Engine Pilot’s License, or a frozen Airline Transport Pilot
• License (ATPL) with Instrument Rating.
• Minimum of 250 hours total flying level.
• Current Class 1 Pilot’s medical.
• Successful completion of Seychelles Air Law.
• A minimum level 4 ICAO English language proficiency.
• Valid Psychometric test.
• Good understanding of Aviation Rules and Regulations.
• Good communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Possesses a mature disposition – Reliable and trustworthy.
• Excellent team-working abilities.
• Ability to think quickly and made decisions in difficult situations and remain calm under pressure.
• Customer-focused attitude.
