Accounts Technician
Job Description
Job Summary
The Accounts Technician will be responsible for logging and posting approved purchase ledger invoices into the financial system, matching supplier invoices with Goods Received Notes (GRN) and Purchase Orders (POs), and resolving any discrepancies. They will organise and file supplier invoices systematically, reconcile supplier statements, and assist with financial reporting.
The role also includes processing supplier payments, including cheques and online transfers, posting cheque payments into the financial system, and performing daily postings to maintain accurate financial records. The individual will be responsible to reconcile key accounts as assigned, assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, and support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Business Studies and Accounting
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Able to use Financial Software
