POSITION: ADOSM with MICE experience- Seychelles

REPORTS TO: Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Description

Responsible for:

• Assisting Cluster DOSM with management of S&M team
• Assisting Cluster DOSM with creation and implementation of budgets for Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa and Coral Strand hotels
• Creating sales strategies for groups segment
• Representing Savoy Seychelles and Coral Strand hotels at trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows as required
• Initiating special offers and other initiatives during periods of low occupancy
• Maintaining and developing relationships with key local partners, wholesalers, charter operators, corporate companies and incentive houses based abroad
• Achieving quarterly revenue KPIs in key assigned markets
• Proactively looking for new partners, negotiating contracts and generating group leads
• Developing relationships with existing partners to increase market share
• Creating an annual calendar of marketing activities responding to need periods in key assigned markets
• Regularly appraising and evaluating initiatives to achieve annual budget
• Initiating and conducting FAM trips with partners from key assigned market

Job Requirements

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years in similar position with a 5 star hotel or regional office of a hotel Company, resort experience is a significant advantage (Dubai, Indian Ocean, Africa or South-East Asia)
• Strong experience in Groups handling (MICE or Leisure)

Competencies, Skills & Personality Traits Required:

• Excellent communications, interpersonal and leadership skills
• An enthusiastic personality, go-getter attitude
• Great team player, able to manage multiple stakeholders
• Stress-resistant

Other Skills:

• Fluent English, written and spoken, University degree, another language is desirable
