Agricultural Project Manager

Job Description

Summary of duties

• Plan and manage agricultural projects and operations across IDC islands.
• Supervise agricultural staff and coordinate day-to-day agricultural operations.
• Monitor crop and livestock production, performance and records against approved operational targets.
• Ensure agricultural activities, including crop and livestock disease and pest-control programmes, comply with applicable health and environmental requirements.
• Manage agricultural labour, equipment, supplies and project budgets, and prepare timely operational reports.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field, with sound knowledge of farm operations, agricultural processes, marketing and economics.
• Strong communication, planning, analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to supervise teams and coordinate agricultural activities across multiple island locations.
