Air Seychelles is in search of Aircraft Store Supervisor to Support the Manager Supply Chain and Commercial (Technical) to effectively supervise and administer all Air Seychelles aircraft store processes in maintaining an accurate, cost-effective store systems that meets all the regulatory requirements of Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA),European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and any customer National Aviation Authority (NAA).

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Abide to all references of quality and/or standards that are laid out in different areas of service provision that meet the safety, operational and commercial objectives of the airline.
• Work with the Manager to ensure that all the stores and logistic requirements are met in a timely manner.
• Supervise and coordinate an accurate and controlled issuance of all approved aircraft materials and parts in accordance with company approved procedure, ensure software system update accurately and timely.
• Supervise the timely and accurate receipt of aircraft parts and materials into the computerized system, and ensuring all approved release documentation are correct and acceptable for fitment on aircraft. Example: Identification and reporting of any instance of suspected unapproved parts (Bogus parts).
• Assist the Cargo department with sea freight custom (SRC) formalities, port clearance and transportation to airport maintenance facility.
• Perform Inspection and approval of incoming materials to meet regulatory requirement in acceptable timeframe. (Store Inspector Approval*)
• Compiles and submits inventory reports to the Manager Supply Chain & Commercial (Technical) as and when required.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile:

• Graduate of a post-secondary institution, O’ level/IGCSE in English and Mathematics with a minimum grade C*
• Store Management Diploma
• At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a technical industry, preferably in the aviation business *
• Good understanding of materials store experience (Advantage)
• General knowledge of Aviation (Advantage)
• Good computer Proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Good command of English, written and spoken.
• People management skills: Excellent supervisory and leadership capabilities being able to coach and mentor staff at all levels.
• Excellent computer Proficiency (Word, Excel)
• Able to efficiently work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Class 2 Driving License.
