Job Description

  1. Provide maximum assistance to clients on arrival and departure at the International and Domestic Terminals, and the Mahe Jetty.
  2. Meet and welcome clients on arrival and departure.
  3. Make sure that /pochettes collected from head office are correct and complete with all necessary information, correct flight time and check itineraries for accuracy of information.
  4. Check clients list to ensure correctness and inform reservation of any changes and amendments.
  5. Collect vouchers from arriving clients from each flight.
  6. Prepare Welcome cards in advance to be given to clients to see their representative.
  7. Pull out list a few days before to plan work.
  8. Check all tickets issued by Cat Coco Office to ensure that all tickets booked are issued correctly.
  9. Assist clients with boarding, double check names and numbers.
  10. Provide correct flight/boat schedule to hotel, head office and representatives in case of delays or breakdowns.
  11. Liaise with counterpart at the Praslin Domestic Airstrip, Praslin & La Digue Jetties to ensure smooth connection between international and domestic flights.
  12. Create a positive image of the company throughout, solicit additional business and be proactive.
  13. Sell the services of Mason’s Travel, soliciting additional business and be proactive.
  14. Issue vouchers as per price list, collect payment, prepare relevant documents for accounting purposes.
  15. Provide assistance with lost luggage, monitor and report all information concerning same in Log Book, Jetty and Airport Reports.
  16. Handle VIP, groups with special care and in a highly professional manner.
  17. Hand out and collect service quality assessment forms if any, collect and return to supervisor.
  18. Please ensure that all delays of boats, flights are communicated to the Transport Supervisor.
  19. Assist with excursions, bus tours as and when required.
  20. Assist with any other duties where your expertise may be required.
