APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF THE ELECTORAL COMMISSION
A vacancy exists for the position of Member of the Electoral Commission.
Applications are invited from citizens of Seychelles residing in Seychelles and who are suitably qualified under Article 115.B of the Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles (Sixth Amendment) Act, 2011. (Act 7 of 2011).
A Member of the Electoral Commission shall be appointed for a term of seven years. The salary, allowances and gratuity payable to the Member of the Electoral Commission, shall be those as prescribed under the Constitutional Appointees Emoluments Act.
It is recommended that applicants visit the CAAs website: www.caaseychelles.com, in particular the CAA Rules and Guidelines on the Selection and Appointment of Constitutional Appointees (Other than Judicial Officers) made under the Laws of Seychelles(Acts).
