Working Hours: 08.00am – 4.00pm.

Job Description

PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure the effective and efficient running of the Elderly homes of the Elderly and Disabled Division and other Divisions through a range of administrative and financial functions.

FUNCTIONAL

  • Maintain Ledgers, inventories, fixed assets register of the department.
  • Maintain records of suspense accounts for Elderly Homes Unit.
  • Prepare request order, purchase and issue stocks, materials and other goods.
  • Manage budgets expenditure of the Elderly Homes and ensure financial systems are followed.
  • Liaise and interact with staff, suppliers and other relevant agencies.
  • Undertake proper filing of documents related to support service.
  • Prepare Store requisition and collect stationaries for the Elderly Homes Unit.
  • Issue resource for meetings, workshops and stationaries to the Elderly Homes Unit.
  • Preparing regular financial and administrative report.
  • Liaise with Procurement Oversight Unit (POU) for tender, procurement plan, contracts for any services render, including small procurement duties.
  • Perform any related duties requested.

Essential Qualifications/Experience

  • Certificate in General management plus 2 years relevant work experience
  • Ability to type a certain rate of words per minute
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Ability to write persuasively
  • Prepare accurate reports
