Job Description
Summary of duties:
- Ensuring that Seychelles Postal Services operates in compliance with UPU standards, SPS policies, procedures and service requirements.
- Responsibilities include monitoring performance, conducting compliance reviews, supporting quality assurance initiatives, coordinating staff training, analysing reports and statistics, and implementing corrective actions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations across Counter, EMS, ASYCUDA, Door‑to‑Door Delivery, Statistics, and Mail Delivery.
- Monitor adherence to SPS policies, SOPs, and UPU requirements, conducting inspections and audits.
- Identify risks and service failures, and assist in corrective actions.
- Prepare performance reports, analyze statistics, and coordinate staff training.
- Collaborate with Customs, airlines, regulators, and international partners; act on behalf of the Manager when delegated.
Job Requirements
Qualification and experience:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Postal Operations, Quality Assurance, or Accounting.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in postal operations, logistics, compliance, or quality assurance, with strong knowledge of operational procedures, customer service standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems, with accuracy in reporting and data analysis.
- Strong leadership, coordination and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical, problem solving and compliance review abilities, including audits and inspections.
- Organisational, planning and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- High integrity, professionalism and attention to detail
