Job Description
Purpose:
To effectively assist with management of the Seychelles Bankers Association so that the Association’s objectives are attained.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the point of contact for the Chairperson
- Handle requests and queries appropriately
- Assist with research on relevant topics when necessary
- Assist with uploads to the SBA website and social media platforms
- Manage diary and schedule meetings and appointments
- Liaise with different banks for necessary information and undertake follow-up
- Take minutes of meetings held for the forums chaired by the SBA
- Source office supplies
- Produce reports, presentations and briefs, if necessary
Job Requirements
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy and experience with word, excel, PowerPoint and email programs
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to multitask
- Strong time-management and organization skills
Candidate Requirements:
- Possess a University Degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or International Certification in Compliance
- Knowledge of the Banking Industry legislation, Anti-Money Laundering legislation, Prevention of Terrorism Financing legislation or minimum 5 years in the banking industry, Regulatory sector or administration is a plus.
