Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for delivering a warm welcome and farewell experience to all guests. Supports front office operations by assisting guests with luggage, escorting them to their rooms, providing information about the hotel facilities, and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process. The Bellman plays a key role in creating positive first and last impressions of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure.
  • Assist guests with luggage, including loading and unloading from vehicles.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features, hotel facilities, and services.
  • Deliver messages, parcels, and guest requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Security to ensure guest needs are met.
  • Arrange transportation and assist guests with directions or local information when required.
  • Tag, store, and retrieve guest luggage accurately and securely.
  • Report any guest complaints, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the Front Office
  • Uphold hotel standards, policies, and service excellence at all times.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or guest service role is an advantage.
  • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry luggage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and local attractions is an advantage.
  • Well-groomed with a professional appearance.
  • Polite, respectful, and approachable.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a strong team player.
  • Able to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
