Job Description
Job Summary
Discharging both a strategic and operational role with a major responsibility to drive non-aeronautical commercial revenue streams across all areas in line with the Company’s Budget assumptions by maximizing performance of current partners, developing opportunities for new initiatives and incremental growth, and oversee the operations of Pay Parking and Advertising business units.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and delivery and continued regular reporting of the Commercial revenue budget each year.
- Provide infrastructure development recommendation in line with the Airport’s passenger forecasts, consistent with the Airport’s Masterplan and in response to industry trends and thus assist in the business case analysis to justify capital expenditure and to demonstrate the strategic benefit from project development.
- Assist the project teams in current and future planned Commercial development ensuring deadlines on completion are kept on track.
- Research new opportunities and provide strategic insight to grow commercial yield and to develop concession partner agreements that ensure the best possible use is made of commercial space.
- Build relationships with new and existing external and internal commercial business partners ensuring the focus is on customer service, operational standards and that financial performance is always optimized.
- Assist in the negotiation of new commercial agreements and complete concession tendering in order to test market value.
- Monitors and analyzes the day-to-day management and operations of all the business units (Retail concessions, pay parking, and Advertising) with reviews on performance, operational efficiency, service, staffing levels, product mix, pricing, promotional activity, Health, and Safety, merchandising and ad hoc performance analysis.
- To monitor by way of regular performance reviews with the relevant Concessionaire Head offices and local teams the financial performance and compliance of all Airport Concessions and partners.
- To assist in the development of car park strategies to encompass future capacity requirements, occupancy, new products, marketing, customer service and staff car parking requirements.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in the Business & Marketing in hospitality industry.
- Any airline/aviation or leisure related courses will be an advantage, particularly in sales and marketing.
- Experience in public relations activities is an advantage.
- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or equivalent. MBA preferred.
- A proven ability to exercise commercial judgement and decision making, ideally in the promotion of air transport related services and products.
- Strong communication (and listening) skills in both French and English, with excellent presentation skills, written and oral.
- Good analytical skills and a positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.
