Job Description

Summary of the Main Duties and Responsibilities.

Food preparation

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to hotel employees.
• Ensure that food is served at the correct temperature and in an appealing manner.
• Replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout meal periods.
• Assist in basic food preparation, such as cutting vegetables or preparing simple dishes, under the supervision of the Canteen Cook

Job Requirements

Qualification & Skills

• Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and handling (training will be provided if necessary).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical endurance to stand for long periods, perform cleaning duties and lifting light to moderate loads
• Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.

Experience

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, staff canteen or large-scale catering setup.
