Air Seychelles is in search of Captain-Jet Fleet to operate as Captain on company A320 Neo Aircraft on all company international routes and maintain overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft and the safety of crew and passengers. Ensure safety of company aircraft and equipment. As pilot in command, lead and assist the First Officers.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Be responsible for the safety of all crew members, passengers and cargo on board as soon s/he arrives on board, until s/he leaves the aeroplane at the end of the flight.
- Assume authority to give all commands he deems necessary for the purpose of securing the safety of the aeroplane and of persons or property carried therein.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure that the aeroplane, and any required equipment is serviceable and that relevant emergency equipment is serviceable and ready for use.
- Confirm that the aeroplane’s performance will enable it to complete safely the proposed flight.
- Ensure that the aircraft is operated in compliance with the terms of its Certificate of Airworthiness and within the approved limitations contained in its Aeroplane Flight Manual.
- Ensure that all operational limitations, procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the Operations Manual.
- Assume authority to disembark any person, or any part of the cargo, which in his opinion, may represent a potential hazard to the safety of the aeroplane of its occupants.
- The commander has the authority to apply greater safety margins, including aerodrome operating minima, if he deems it necessary.
Hours of Work
Odd Hours. Based on roster as per aircraft schedule.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
Direct Entry Type Rated Commander Jet Fleet
- A minimum of 5500 hours total¹;
- A minimum of 2000 hours total or 1500 hours PIC on multi-crew glass cockpit jet aeroplane²;
- A minimum of 1000 hours Command on A320 family;
- Shall hold a valid ICAO ATPL(A) and valid Class 1 medical certificate;
- Shall hold a valid License Proficiency Check on type and last flight on type within the preceding 12 months; and
- Maximum age limit: 60 years.
Note: 1) In case of hours accumulated on flight with in-flight relief, 75% of total hours in such position shall be counted towards the required minimum.
Note: 2) Glass cockpit: Aeroplane with an FMS coupled to the APFDS.
