Position: Cards Systems Officer
Responsible to: Head of Cards Service
Job Description
Job Summary:
Support in the performance of the Cards Systems ensuring a high level of customer service and provision of cards as per schemes and providers’ agreements, ensuring compliance with Bank Regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintenance, support, and upgrading of Cards systems in operation for ATMs and POS terminal;
- Provide overall support to the department and identify ways to streamline internal processes;
- Assist in Project development, implementation and management of the Bank’s Cards Systems;
- Handle Fraudguard Systems Rule support;
- Ensure Quarterly Schemes compliances and completion of routine tests;
- Prepare monthly statistics return and reports.

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Computing and Information systems, or programming with relevant 3 years satisfactory experience as Systems Officer plus Cards and Payments Level I Certificate; or
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years’ satisfactory experience as a System Support Officer with CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ and CCNA or MCSA.
Key Competencies
- Strong understanding of bank cards management system associated with various technologies and ways to manage them
- Knowledge of data communication systems and technologies with user interaction and vendor management experience
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Effective communication skills both in written and verbal with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
