Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with approved plans, safety regulations, and company standards. The role ensures that all carpentry works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wooden and other materials.
- Construct and repair doors, windows, cabinets, furniture, shelves, partitions, and other fixtures.
- Perform maintenance and renovation works on buildings and structures.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Install locks, hinges, handles, and other hardware components.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify structural or maintenance issues.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide support during renovation, refurbishment, and special projects.
Working hours:- 48 hours per week with one day off per week

Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or related trade.
- Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum [X] years preferred).
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
