Air Seychelles is looking for an individual to join the Catering Store Department as Catering Operations Officer to assist with a wide range of catering operational activities and administrative duties under direct supervision.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Perform flight checks on HM flights departing Seychelles, interacting with Cabin Crew and completing the Flight Check document accordingly. To follow up and communicate any issues noted with the relevant stakeholders within the business.
- Support the Catering Operations Manager with the NCR issuing process and to update the NCR tracker as and when required.
- Follow up with the network caterers to ensure that they provide accurate and timely monthly equipment returns. To review the data provided to ensure that equipment par levels are maintained and to take action regarding equipment shortfalls and excesses.
- Ensure that the airline’s policies for equipment supplies are carried out in accordance with the airline processes and to liaise with network caterers to ensure they understand and fulfil their obligations with regards to equipment control.
- Manage the utilisation throughout the catering network of high-value Cabin appearance Materials specifically Economy Blankets and Business Class duvets, headrest covers, pillow cases. To also manage and monitor the utilization of all Cabin Appearance Materials.
- In coordination with the Procurement team, to monitor the utilisation of HM-owed beverages and dry stores components by reviewing the weekly inventory documents and by carrying out regular spot checks on packed product at Skychef.
- Manage the packing of inflight beverages, dry stores and amenities for all Air Seychelles flights and ensure all items are packed according to the Galley Loading Plan for respective flight.

Our Preferred Profile
- Graduate of post-secondary institution with IGCSE/O Level Maths and English
- Store management certificate.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a related/similar role.
- Computer literate, and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive in dealing with third parties and colleagues and is able to Interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Must be honest, trustworthy and able to work in a team and under pressure within tight schedules.
- Highly organized and meticulous, with excellent time management and multi-tasking.
- Able to lift/carry and maneuver reasonable load.
- Must be a people person with excellent customer service.
- Valid Driving license – Class 5
