You will be responsible for developing and executing our strategic and annual operating plans, setting measurable goals, and fostering a work culture that aligns with CWS’s mission, vision, and values. As the main driver of the organisation, you will be accountable to our stakeholders and responsible for timely, accurate reporting on all financial, technical, operational, and commercial matters to the board of directors.

Job Requirements

Qualification & Experience

• Education: A first degree in Accountancy, Telecommunications, IT/Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field, complemented by a professional qualification or MBA.
• Experience: At least 10 years in senior management, preferably in a C-suite role within a significant single-country company or a multinational organisation.
• Leadership: At least 5 years leading a telecommunications company or a related field, with experience in both business as usual and significant change programs.
• Board Experience: Proven track record of working with boards or within a matrixed multinational organisation.

Skills & Competencies

• Management: Expertise in corporate management, financial planning, and strategy.
• Communication: Excellent communicator and influencer.
• Innovation: Skilled in promoting process improvements and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of legal and telecommunications regulatory environments.
• People Skills: Strong decision-making abilities centered on people, with excellent external stakeholder engagement.
• Detail-Oriented: High levels of numeracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Desirable Attributes

• Quad Play Experience: Familiarity with Mobile, Internet, Fixed, and IPTV services.
• Cross-Cultural Leadership: Experience in leading diverse teams across different cultural settings.
