Responsible for ensuring the provision of an accurate and certified register of voters for each electoral area for the purposes of elections by supervising the work of officers responsible for voter registration, maintaining the voter registration database, preparing and maintaining the voters’ register on a continuous basis.
Publish the register of voters for inspection as required by the Elections Act and liaising with political parties and other stakeholders in the dissemination of electoral registration information.
Responsible to: Chief Electoral Officer
Location: Electoral Commission Secretariat, Mont Fleuri
Attractive salary packages commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualification and experience
- A first Degree with experience in general management.
- Sound understanding of information technologies, data processing systems and data security.
- Elections management experience would be an advantage.
Strong leadership, communications and problem solving skills. A person of high integrity, impartial, fair, non-partisan with strong personal drive and readiness to persevere.
