Consultancy for developing a Standardized National Coral Reef Reporting and Status Report
Seychelles Conservation and Climate Change Adaptation Trust (SeyCCAT) is an independent trust fund that empowers sustainable development of Seychelles’ blue economy by supporting impactful projects that address climate change and marine conservation challenges in the country. SeyCCAT grants are competitively awarded to public, private, and non-profit applicants based in the Seychelles.
SeyCCAT seeks to recruit a consultant or a team of consultants to a develop a standardized national coral reef reporting framework and a comprehensive status report on Seychelles’ coral reefs. This initiative will support the effective monitoring and management of coral ecosystems, ensuring evidence-based conservation planning under the Seychelles Marine Spatial Plan (SMSP).
The main objectives of this consultancy are to:
- Strengthen National Coordination
- Create a National Coral Reef Inventory
- Produce a Comprehensive Status Report
- Support Management Plans
The consultancy is expected to amount to 34 days across the period spanning April to September 2025, over a period of 40 days.
