Job Description
The Cook is the person responsible for the preparation of all meals for guests and crew while vessel is on a cruise.
The cook is also required to help with getting supplies and preparing the boat for the next cruise while in port.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner for guests and crew
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quantity of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders at the end of each cruise.
Job Requirements
Living and working on a boat can sometimes be difficult and we need a person who is able to share and also to understand other people’s needs living in a very small place.
