Job Description
Overview
Reliance Insurance Brokers (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and commercially minded Corporate Clients Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, preferably including underwriting experience, together with experience managing corporate insurance portfolios.
The role involves reviewing clients’ businesses, risk exposures and insurance requirements, preparing submissions for insurers, obtaining and negotiating insurance terms, presenting recommendations to clients and managing policies throughout the insurance lifecycle.
The Corporate Clients Executive will work closely with corporate clients, insurers and other stakeholders to deliver appropriate insurance solutions while maintaining high standards of technical accuracy, regulatory compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Corporate Clients Manager in managing and servicing the corporate client portfolio.
- Review clients’ businesses, risk exposures and insurance requirements.
- Gather, review and collate underwriting information and prepare comprehensive submissions for insurers.
- Obtain, review, negotiate and compare quotations, coverage, premiums, exclusions, excesses and other policy terms.
- Prepare and present insurance options and recommendations to clients in a clear and accurate manner.
- Process new business placements, policy endorsements and other corporate client instructions.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, surveyors and other stakeholders on insurance placements, policy administration and related matters.
- Work closely with the Renewals Executive and Claims Executive to provide coordinated support to corporate clients.
- Maintain accurate client records, documentation and correspondence in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Support the retention and development of the corporate client portfolio.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge of the Seychelles insurance market, insurance products, policy wordings and underwriting procedures is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial insurance products, including motor fleet, fire and special perils, marine, liability and engineering insurance, with knowledge of other corporate-related insurance classes.
- Three to five years’ relevant experience in commercial lines underwriting, insurance broking or managing corporate insurance portfolios.
- A minimum of a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Insurance, Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification or other recognised insurance-related qualification will be an advantage.
