Air Seychelles is in search of one Corporate Financial Control Manager to responsible for assessing the financial performance of the division and aligning the division towards achieving pre-determined organizational goals.

Conduct Business Planning, Budgeting, Financial Evaluation, Strategic Benchmarking and providing expert advices on matters of Financial and commercial concern including restructuring and financial evaluations.

Job Description

A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:

• Appropriate the financial performance of the division, and provide financial performance insights and forecasting to the division, with the aim of keeping the division on track to achieving their goals.
• Participate dynamically in the business planning and budgeting processes. Set targets and ensure that divisional plans are in line with corporate goals.
• Responsible for developing complex financial and Business Models, and ensuring effective communication on the performance to improve economic performance of the company.
• Uphold all Financial Key Performance Indicator’s and Reports of the division.
• Provide support and guidance to the business regarding costing of business opportunities/projects.
• Drive best practice, and ensure compliance with corporate governance around expenditure control.
• Responsible for compiling the company’s 5YP. Prepare
  and update the monthly financial forecasts and track company performance to 5YP.
• Responsible for route and charter costing as well as review of route profit and business unit profit report.
• Conduct any other related duties as may be delegated by the Head of Corporate Financial Control.

Job Requirements

Our Preferred Profile:

• Degree holder in Finance or a related field, with progression towards professional qualification such as ACCA, MBA, CPA, CFA etc….
• 2 years’ experience related experience*
• Experience in financial planning and control
• Knowledge and implementation of Balanced Scorecard/Key Performance Indicators
• Financial Modeling and Data Analysis expertise
• Advanced IT skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with superior presentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Highly-organised and detail oriented
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• *Or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
