Job Description
Job Summary
Customer Service Officers responsibilities are to provide all necessary help and support to passengers as required by assisting passengers and the general public with all airport information, for flights, handle customer complaints relating to airport services and facilities including other related services expected at the airport.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage operation of the Customer Service Desk during roster times.
- Provide general airport information and assistance to passengers and the public.
- Handle passenger’s queries and complaints relating to airport services and facilities.
- Provide directions to passengers with lost & found issues including temporary luggage storage information.
- Provide clarification on arrival and departure flight statuses including cancelations.
- Provide information on public transport timetables,transport fares and rental services such as car hire operators.
- Hand out promotional detail vouchers and sales offers, airport map and guide Wi-Fi passcode to passengers.
- Hand out giveaways for upcoming airport and national events of importance
- Assist with passenger services surveys for the airport.
- Liaise with other airport stakeholders where necessary to facilitate passenger queries.
- Maintain records of complaints for processing and resolution.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Front Office Certificate in the hospitality sector or O’Level / IGCSE in the following subjects with a minimum of grade C: English, Mathematics and French.
- Or related subjects in Tourism, Hospitality or Guest Service.
- Experience in working within the tourism sector or other front office work at least two years will be an advantage.
- Ability to speak English /French (another language will be a plus).
- Computer Skills.
