Build a career in operations back office team:

Main accountabilities include:

  • Develop strategies to ensure increased acquisition of Debit Cards though engagement with various  sales segments
  • Overall responsibility for Debit Cards Management.
  • Provide training and coaching on existing and new Debit card features to local Sales Team
  • Act as an Champion for complex Debit card related Customer Service queries/complaints and provide report thereon
  • Act as Debit cards  principal point of contact for all new Debit Card projects including process/product enhancements
  • Coordinating with partners and driving activation program for Debit Cards
  • Liaising with internal teams to increase Debit Card usage for new and existing  account holders
  • Creating product awareness amongst different channels by publishing periodic information and analytics for Debit Cards.
  • Ensuring card MI is collected and shared with line manager on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for managing a profitable Debit Card proposition
  • Responsible for card usage campaigns and promotions

Job Requirements

Education/Environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge and practical understanding of local regulations applicable to acquiring.
  • 3 years Business Development Role / Customer Service experience with a strong track record of high performance

Technical Skills

  • Proven success rate in negotiation in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Communications and influence – highly effective in both operational and customer Arenas
  • Working knowledge and practical understanding of local regulations applicable to acquiring

Knowledge, Expertise & Experience

  • Knowledge of the Debit Card Industry
  • Local market and regulatory knowledge and functional experience in acceptance, merchant acquiring, card issuing, interchange management, consulting, financial transaction processing knowledge and client sales, supporting highly complex clients and/or services within a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience of the card payment industry in particular could be an added advantage
  • Established networks at decision making levels with a strong business-to-business sales track record.
  • Sales experience at Senior Level
  • Product Development Knowledge
  • Business Development Role / Customer Service experience with a strong track record of high performance.
  • Proven success rate in negotiation in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
