The Housing Finance Company is looking for suitable candidates to fill the above position.

Responsible to: Senior Debt Collection and Recovery Officer

Purpose of the post: To support the recovery of delinquent loan accounts through timely follow-up, customer engagement and approved recovery actions, while ensuring accurate account administration and compliance with recovery procedures.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities Include

• Follow up on delinquent accounts through calls, emails, correspondence and field visits.
• Engage customers and support agreed repayment arrangements and recovery action plans.
• Conduct field/home visits to verify information and assess repayment capacity.
• Update customer interactions, recovery actions and account records accurately.
• Support reporting, documentation, account closure, refunds and matters referred for legal recovery.
• Ensure professional conduct, confidentiality and compliance with recovery procedures and customer service standards.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Banking, Finance, Law, Business Administration or related field plus two (2) years’ experience in a similar position in the banking sector, or Certificate in Business Administration or related field plus a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar position in the banking sector.
• Good negotiation, communication, customer management and record-keeping skills are required.
