Job Description

Job Summary

The Desalination & Process Engineer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing desalination and water treatment processes. The role involves ensuring efficient plant operations, maintaining water quality standards, monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting maintenance and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize desalination and water treatment processes.
• Monitor key operating parameters, including pressure, flow, pH, conductivity, and TDS.
• Ensure compliance with required water quality standards and process specifications.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Support plant maintenance, commissioning, and operational activities.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide technical support to clients.
• Maintain accurate operational and technical records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and ISO 9001 standards.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Education Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Process, Environmental, Water Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience Previous experience in desalination, Reverse Osmosis (RO), or water treatment processes is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge Good understanding of water treatment processes, chemical dosing systems, pumps, process instrumentation, and related equipment.
• Driving Licence Valid driving licence.
• Travel Willingness to travel regularly to client and project sites.
