Job Description

Role Overview

Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of biodiversity conservation policies to
safeguard Seychelles’ natural heritage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor biodiversity policies and programs.
• Build partnerships to achieve conservation goals.
• Ensure compliance with national and international biodiversity agreements.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Conservation, Environmental Science, or a related field, with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Postgraduate Diploma with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s with 3 years of experience in Conservation or related fields.

Competencies & Skills

• Strategic planning and leadership abilities.
• Effective advocacy and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficient in risk assessment and decision-making.
