Job Description
The Dive Instructor / Skipper is responsible for delivering safe and professional diving and marine experiences for guests while also operating resort vessels for excursions, transfers and other marine activities. The role combines diving instruction, boat handling, guest service and daily Marina operations within a private island resort environment.
Main Tasks
- Lead scuba diving, snorkelling and other water-based guest activities.
- Conduct dive briefings, courses and guest orientation.
- Operate resort vessels for diving trips, excursions, transfers, charters and other marine activities.
- Conduct pre-departure vessel and safety checks and ensure boats are operationally ready.
- Monitor weather, sea conditions and marine safety requirements.
- Maintain diving, watersports and safety equipment in good condition.
- Provide professional guest service throughout all diving and boating activities.

Job Requirement
Requirements
- Valid Dive Instructor certification from a recognised diving organisation.
- Valid skipper/boating licence (60 miles) or certification appropriate for operating passenger vessels.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in diving, skippering or marine operations.
- Strong boat handling, navigation and marine safety knowledge.
- Good understanding of diving procedures, emergency response and marine operations.
- Experience operating vessels for guest transfers, excursions or diving activities.
- Strong swimming and physical fitness.
- Fluent English; additional guest languages are an advantage.
- Previous resort, island or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
- Professional, safety-focused and confident working directly with guests.
