Air Seychelles is in search of a Driver/Messenger to operate company buses and associated vehicles to convey company employees and other personnel on official scheduled and non-scheduled runs and or as directed whilst ensuring compliance to driving safety rules and the company vehicle policy at all times. To also carry out messenger duties.
Job Description
A summary of your responsibilities will include but not necessarily limited to the following:
- Pick up and drop off staff and any other authorized persons at designated locations, in line with Ground Services transportation itinerary, as per planned route and time schedule.
- Assist Ground Services with the delivery of mishandled baggage and transportation of guests when necessary.
- Check serviceability of vehicle at the start of each shift to guarantee safety of passengers, and do basic maintenance.
- Report any auto problems/defects to the Workshop Supervisor through the Transport Supervisor.
- Complete serviceability check list daily and record mileage and fuel consumption daily.
- Carry out wheel change if required, and report this to the Workshop Supervisor through the Transport Supervisor.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean and presentable.
- Enforce and keep order aboard the company vehicle; Promptly report any disorder/disciplinary issue by passengers to the Transport Supervisor.
- Conduct supporting duties as required, which may include Fedex driving duties, purchasing and messenger duties.

Job Requirements
Our Preferred Profile:
- At least 3 years’ driving experience
- Must possess driving license class 5.
- Decent English language skills.
- Good physical health (Sight, hearing, hand-eye coordination etc…)
- Knowledge of aviation security policies and procedures.
- Good understanding of safety management and security issues relating to Passenger and Ramp Handling.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Satisfactory communication skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills – approachable, courteous and helpful.
- Possesses a safety-conscious attitude.
- A team player.
- Prepared to work in all whims of weather.
