Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Collecting the daily newspapers.
  2. Collecting the mail from post office on a daily basis.
  3. Taking mail to the post office as and when necessary.
  4. Deliver al official mails on a daily basis.
  5. Collect mail as directed from offices within the Company and sister Companies.
  6. Driving the HRD staff to appointments, meetings and functions during the working day as necessary.
  7. Deliver pochettes to Airport Office on Wednesday and Fridays.
  8. Liaise with Weeding Coordinator on a daily basis regarding apostils.
  9. Deliver co-mails daily at the Mahe Quay jetty.
  10. To ensure the vehicle’s road licence and insurance are always valid and well displayed.
  11. Provide daily visual checks and basic maintenance for the vehicle eg. oil and water levels.
  12. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle allocated to you.
  13. Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork such as daily record sheet.
  14. Ensure that all accidents, mechanical faults or damages are reported to your Transport Executive/Manager.
  15. Ensure that works order is handed over to Workshop for any checks, repairs or malfunctions of the vehicle.
  16. Responsible to inform the Transport Executive/Manager of insurance and road tax procedures for the vehicle.
  17. To drive an agreed daily route plan for journeys, seeking prior approval to any route change by the HR Manager.
  18. To complete any relevant duties that may be assigned.

Benefits

Remuneration can be negotiated based upon experience and qualifications.
