Are you ready to bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to a vibrant and eco-conscious hospitality brand? Canopy by Hilton Seychelles is seeking a dedicated Engineering Supervisor to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our property’s facilities.
Position Overview
As the Engineering Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day engineering operations, maintaining the hotel’s equipment, systems, and facilities to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work closely with the Engineering Manager and lead a team to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate the engineering team to perform maintenance and repair tasks efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage maintenance schedules and respond promptly to guest and operational needs.
- Assist with energy conservation programs and initiatives to align with Canopy’s eco-conscious ethos.
- Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations across the property.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a similar engineering role, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and energy conservation practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
