Job Description
A prospective company currently awaiting its licence from the Central Bank is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team of professionals.
This role will be crucial for overseeing end-to-end finance operations, managing balance sheet reconciliations, handling taxation, and identifying opportunities to enhance procedures and controls.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices, including all periodic control
- Lead the team to ensure all finance operations are performed in accordance with procedures and policies
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Responsible to the computation of taxes and preparation of tax returns
- Creating periodic table, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements as part of the management accounts
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Keep informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting
- Assisting management in the decision-making process
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience accounting or Banking Field
- First degree in Actuarial Studies/ Finance/ Accounting
- ACCA/CFA/ACA
