Job Description

Job Summary Responsible to manage all accounting operations, coordinate and direct the preparation and management of the annual budgets, prepare and publish timely monthly, quaterly and annual financial reports and other regulatory reports, ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and other legal requirements.

Responsible to: Chief Electoral Officer

Location: Electoral Commission Secretariat, Mont Fleuri

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification and experience

A first Degree in Finance or Accounting with at least three years’ work experience. Preparation of Performance Based Budgeting would be an advantage.

Skills/Attributes

  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Strong leadership, communications and problem solving skills. A person of high integrity, impartial, fair, non-partisan with strong personal drive and readiness to persevere.
