Financial Analyst
Job Description
The financial analyst plays a key role in supporting the FIU’s mandate to combat money laundering, terrorism financing, and related financial crimes. The role involves analysing financial data and suspicious transaction reports to identify unusual patterns, emerging risks, and potential indicators of financial crime, and preparing financial intelligence reports based on the findings. The position also includes conducting research and risk assessments, maintaining intelligence databases, liaising with relevant stakeholders, and contributing to strategic and operational intelligence products that strengthen national financial security.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Forensic Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
- AML/Compliance qualifications would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and financial crime risks
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
