Job Summary
The Financial Controller plays a crucial role in the Seychelles Licensing Authority (SLA) by overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. This includes managing financial operations, maintaining financial health, ensuring strict compliance with financial regulations and policies, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. The Financial Controller is responsible for ensuring the efficient use of financial resources, safeguarding the integrity of financial data, and contributing to the SLA’s financial sustainability and growth.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or a financial controller role, with 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Adaptability to changing financial regulations and policies.
- Experience in the public sector or regulatory authorities is a plus.
