Eden Island Luxury Accommodation (EILA) has the following vacancy available:

• General Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Summary of duties:

• Perform “General Maintenance Checks” which includes, without limitation, the following:
  • Do regular inspections on all EILA managed properties
  • Keep clean records of works done in each property
  • Note and attend to all general faults and problems on EILA buildings(where qualified to do so)
  • Any other related general works as instructed by the Direct Line Manager or the appointed Manager in his or her absence

• Perform “Electrical” maintenance, which includes, without limitation, the following:
  • Do regular inspections on all electrical systems on EILA managed properties
• Perform “Carpentry” maintenance, which includes, without limitation, the following:
  • Repair all door locks, hinges, door closures and ensure same are in a good working condition – as and when required (and where qualified to do so)
• Perform EPV maintenance which includes, without limitation, the following:
  • Regular maintenance and checks on batteries including toping up of water
  • Regular inspections of EPV rain covers
  • Maintain all EPV’s belonging to properties managed by EILA , as well as owned by EILA in a clean, tidy and operational condition
  • Assist Client and Guest Services staff with the repatriation of EPV’s from and to the relevant properties
  • Any other related duties as instructed by the Direct Line Manager or the appointed Manager in his or her absence

• Perform High Pressure Cleaning maintenance which includes, without limitation, the following:
  • Maintain in a good state and appearance all terraces [ground floor and upstairs], patios, pool decks, courtyards, driveways and roof structures of properties managed by EILA

Attributes and Qualifications:

• At least three years’ experience in a similar position
