HOTEL INFORMATION
Meliá Seychelles is set to open early 2026 and is located within the Seafront Estate, Roche Caiman, Mahé. Our business & leisure resort will include:Â
- 120 beautifully appointed rooms, including standards, suites, and junior suites
- 68 branded apartments of which 40 will be part of the hotel rental pool
- A convention centre accommodating up to 300 guests
- Three dining outlets, a gym, pool, spa, and a rooftop area
Job Description
Position Profile
Reporting directly to the Managing Director for Meliá Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, the General Manager will oversee all hotel operations, ensuring top-notch service and performance across departments. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and inspiring high-performing hotel teams while maintaining exceptional service quality and productivity.
- Implementing Meliá Hotels International procedures and policies in line with strategic objectives.

Job Requirements
Requirements
- 8- 10 years’ experience as General Manager in an upper-upscale resort environment.
- Proven experience in high-end business or leisure resorts is essential.
- Ability to demonstrate a track record in hotel opening is essential.
- Familiarity with management contracts and reporting to property owners.
- Ability to work autonomously and focus on operational excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to team management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all hotel department operations.
- Proficiency in English & French is required; Spanish is desirable.
- Proven experience in Human Resources management and talent development.
- Familiarity with hotel management IT tools.
