Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies to maintain competitiveness.
    • Lead the organization toward achieving sustainable profitability and expansion.
  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee annual budgeting and financial reporting.
    • Monitor profit and loss statements and cash flows.
    • Manage debtors and creditors,
    • Ensure financial discipline and cost efficiency.
  • Operational Oversight:
    • Direct daily operations across sales, service, parts, and finance departments.
    • Establish and enforce operational policies and standards.
    • Ensure efficient workflows and quality service delivery.
  • Sales Management:
    • Set sales targets
    • Monitor market conditions and analyze sales data.
    • Drive a customer-focused sales culture throughout the organization.
  • Staff Management and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members.
    • Identify training and development needs to enhance employee performance.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee vehicle and parts inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Ensure inventory aligns with sales demand and market trends.
    • Manage stock rotation, ordering, and disposal processes efficiently.
  • Customer Relations:
    • Promote and maintain excellent customer service standards.
    • Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers and corporate clients.
    • Resolve escalated customer concerns promptly.
  • Stakeholder Relations:
    • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
    • Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and trade events.
    • Communicate effectively with the Board regarding performance and strategy.
  • Governance:
    • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory policies.
    • Uphold ethical business practices and corporate governance standards.
    • Oversee health and safety compliance within all operations.

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the automotive, tourism, or transport industry.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in operations, financial management, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to market trends and drive innovation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the transportation or leisure vehicle industry is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the buggy, vehicle rental, or leisure transport industry is an advantage.
