The Alliance Française des Seychelles, a leading cultural and linguistic institution, is seeking a versatile technician to ensure the proper technical and logistical operation of its premises, equipment, and infrastructure.
Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out minor maintenance work (plumbing, electricity, painting, setting up exhibitions, concerts, etc.);
- Oversee external service providers (air conditioning, photocopier, cleaning, etc.) and follow up on quotations;
- Manage stocks, inventory, and equipment;
- Provide logistical support for educational and cultural activities;
- Maintain green areas and enhance the garden;
- Perform various errands and general assistance tasks (deliveries, mail, purchases, etc.).
Job Requirements
Profile Sought
- Training or experience in technical maintenance or logistics;
- Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and IT;
- Rigour, autonomy, organizational skills, and team spirit;
- Good interpersonal skills, service-oriented attitude, and ability to work in a multicultural, non profit environment.
Conditions
- Position based in Victoria, Mahé;
- Start date: as soon as possible;
- Local contract in accordance with the institution’s salary scale.
